January 26, 2015

This week we have done some crazy stuff that I literally would never have thought I would have done in my life. Last Monday we ate Pachamanca a La tierra and it was so delicious and good. Its crazy how they prepare the food. Ill never forget that experience I have some awesome videos but not sure how to send them. Ive tried but I cant. This week has gone by so fast and every time I notice I have more time in the mission.

This week I started a thing called Purifying yourself which includes to stop thinking of anything that will distract you from the work. ITs a process of 40 days which Im on the 8 day. This is really hard to do but at the same time I feel the spirit way closer in my life.

SOme of the things I have left is thinking of anything that relates to home. This is pretty hard to do but when you get lost in the work it really helps. I have found out that working, working, and working is the antidote to true happiness in the mission. I Think this has been the first week that my feet havent hurt and thats because Im giving everything to the Lord.

Another thing that I had to leave behing is the music. Its a really hard thing to do especially being a musician but you gotta just do it. I have left some other things too and it is really helping on concentrating on the people and spirit when I teach. Im so happy to be in the mission. I have never felt so alive with scriptures that just come to my mind and with such peace that you cant buy anywhere.

Im greatfull to be a missionary. I hope to be a great man when I leave the mission as I just saw a missionary leave cause he just finished his mission. He is going back to Las Vegas. I want to finish like Elder Bulloch which worked until the last day. Just gotta take it day by day, scripture by scripture, and precept upon precept.

Gotta Love the mission. DAD you were always right to always being happy you are the key to my happiness on my mission. MOM you are the key of finding solutions.

Till next time
