This week I met some pretty cool people that are now investigators in the church. We did a lot of contacts this week and met some great families that are interested on getting baptized. This coming Saturday we are having another baptism for Max. We are so happy he has the opportunity of making a covenant with our Heavenly Father that will change his life forever. He is doing really good with keeping all the commandments.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to give a talk in sacrament and the topic was the Love of Christ. One of my favorite topics that someone can talk about. I told the story about when dad went to Bolivia I think and went to that funeral and the taxi guy asked him to say some words about the guy that just passed away but my dad didn't know the guy. I talked about how you dad have the love of Christ.

The mission is teaching me to talk to everyone even people on the street that I could never picture in my head. Anyway I gave my talk and everyone loved it.

We had three investigators that came to church yesterday that made us super happy. One was Max, second was Brian which is an investigator that we are working with to help him with his problems of drinking and smoking. He came to church and you could see a difference in his personality with him keeping his goal for two days. Hopefully he can get baptized on the 8th of November. The third person that came was Sicilia another investigator that we just met and she came to church out of no where we are going to work with her this week to get a date for baptism.

One of the things I love about here in Peru is that the buses are so dangerous and its literally an adventure getting on and off. When you are on the bus its like if you were at the zoo. Creatures that you could never imagine. I have a funny experience that happened to me and my companion a couple of days ago. We were sitting on a bus going somewhere to eat lunch and the bus always stop to pick up people. The problem is that there is a door in the back and in the front. The bus driver can see what happens at the front door but not what happens at the back. This old lady was trying to get on at the back and she was with her daughter I think. She was taking to long and since the bus driver couldn't see the back. You can put the pieces together on whats going to happen next. The old lady had like one foot on the bus and the bus driver took off. Its not the same thing how people in the US take off. Here in Peru you have to hold on so that you don't fall. So everyone in the bus started screaming at the bus driver to stop cause the old lady got left behind. She's lucky she didn't fall and get hurt or wasn't run over. The bus here is pretty dangerous and not very sanitary but its part of the mission. Everything that happens here in Peru is great. Even the dangerous buses are awesome.

I'm excited to be here in Peru serving the Lord. I know this church is true and that this is the only true church on the planet. I know the book of Mormon is true and i have had the opportunity to start reading it in Spanish. I get the same feeling no matter if the book is in English or Spanish. The book of Mormon is the most correct book on this planet and has more knowledge on how to improve our lives than any other book. I'm grateful for a our Prophet Thomas Spencer Monson and love him dearly. Can't wait to send you pictures next week about my other baptism. Talk to you next week!!!!
