Dear Family,
This week has been a great time to reflect upon the experience I've had here in the mission. Me and my companion are working really hard to see how the Lord works miracles among us. I'm excited and really happy to be serving here in the mission. I'm super grateful to my savior to give me the opportunity to be his representative and see things he sees.
Yesterday the stake president was talking with us on some things we could do to help out our zone become missionaries with fire. He talked about having 3 things that we need to make fire. 1 oxigen 2 heat 3 combustible.... he talked about how the missionaries if they have 3 things they can be the most powerful missionaries possible. He talked about 1 reading their scriptures (the word of God) this means if they aren't having their studies they can't have that power to know what to say. 2 They need the desires to serve the Lord from their own will. When we look for inspiration we can receive it if we desire it. I know that this is true. Ammon said that depending on one's desires and faith the spirit will come with thee. We see that if the missionaries don't have the desires they can't do anything. The 3 It is that through obedience we can have the spirit of the Lord. The spirit is that fire that which the missionaries can have to cut any wickedness or evil thing out in this world.
The savior had all of these three things and he was the most powerful master that has ever taught. I know that he has been my master who has been teaching me through these 20 months here in the mission through his spirit. I truly have gotten to love him and I know that he lives. I have felt his presence and in the lessons when we teach i can see that the different people can see him manifesting himself unto them. My favorite part about the mission is teaching others the GOspel of Jesus CHrist. I have practiced so much every day to teach the way the Lord would teach. I study the scriptures with all my heart and I know he is attentive when I kneel to pray.
I will be letting you know how this week went. Love you guys and talk to you soon....
