Wow how is the Parra Family?!! Im so humbled to know that this month I will have the opportunity to write to you guys. I can now believe and feel that Im in the mission completly. I have 13 months in the mission and I feel like I have changed a lot. I have some interesting news that you all might want to know.
After tuesday I had the news that I would stay in my area BUT... that I was going to have 2 companions. Also that we are going to be zone leaders. Now we are 3 zone leaders watching over 23 missionaries. Im super gratefull for the privalage the Lord has given me to take care of these missionaries and get to love them with all my heart. I know that I will learn a lot and I have been this whole week.
My companions have 21 months and the other one has 19 months. They have a lot of expirience and Im gratefull to be able to work side by side with them. This change is going to go by so fast. We have a ton of work to do.
I would like to share a scripture with all you guys.
Its in 1 Nephi 1:20.... But behold, I, Nephi, will show unto you that the tender mercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chosen, because of their faith, to make them mighty even unto the power of deliverance.
I know that the tender mercies are real and they are for each and every on of us.
I love the scripture that says.... Give mercy to others so that you may recieve mercy as well... This last change I have learned how the Lord has mercy for us all. One thing that I loved that my companion told me is that when we teach someone pretend that it is your mom who you are teaching. That will make you teach with love and mercy. I know that the work we are doing here is true and that this is the true church of Jesus Christ.
I have felt his spirit and I know that the Lord is happy till this point with my work. I know that I can give more and I will. Thank you so much for all your prayes and for the Love you have for me. I love you guys so much miss you but I try to focus on what the Lord wants and I put away my desires for last.
Like an Apostle of the Lord said...The smartest person in world is the person that does the will of the Lord because in the end its easier....I know that this is true. I testify that our Savior Jesus Christ Lives and loves us.
I will talk to you all soon and wish me luck in my new calling and in the things that are happening in Peru. Love you guys.
