The mission is a crucial place where you learn the most about God and the spirit he brings into your life.

Something that I have noticed is in the mission you know when you have the spirit with you and when you don't. Depending on your obedience and patience is what will determine if you have the spirit with you all the time or just sometimes. Sometimes when we teach kids is a big distraction because they haven't grown up with the gospel in their lives. Sometimes as missionaries and more as human beings you get frustrated and the spirit leaves. This occurred to me yesterday but I learned a great lesson.

I learned to never get frustrated or think that we could be teaching someone else. I learned that the reality is no matter what the distractions are the spirit will always be there if you teach with love and tenderness. After that lesson I had with some investigators. Me and my companion got on our knees and offered a prayer to ask for the holy ghost. We knew that if we humbled ourselves before the Lord that he would hear us. After we offered the prayer we felt better and had the opportunity to teach the family that is going to get married.

With this family we watched the Joseph Smith movie. We could feel the spirit so strong and at the end the dad of the family offered the prayer. In his prayer he said that he knew that Joseph Smith was a prophet. He also asked for knowledge of it. We as missionaries were so happy to hear him say those words.

This week has been a good week. This week we have also seen miracles happening. We were teaching this family we have and the wife's mom was really ill. She couldn't walk and she said that it hurt a lot. We as missionaries gave her a blessing that she could recover but depending on her faith that she would be healed. Yesterday we had the opportunity to go see that family after a week of not seeing them and the grandma was walking again and she was fine. My faith grew so much of how much power and authority God gives us to act in his name. How much the Lord trusts us and how we have to be worthy to be able to use it.

I'm so grateful for this gospel and for my family that is cheering me on. I love all of you guys so much.

Love you guys
