I'm enjoying it here in Lima. The people, food, and the culture. I have some pretty exciting news to tell you guys that has made my mission so much better and not want to go back at all. ha ha.

This week we have found a lot of new investigators (people we are teaching the gospel). Me and my companion have been working really hard to find people and do the thing we are here for which is to invite people to come unto Christ. I have got a lot more stories to tell about the things that happen to me and my companion.

This week we also have been attacked by some crazy dogs. There is a lot of stray dogs here in Lima. They sometimes come in packs and it kind of gets a little scary but I know the Lord is on our side so he is protecting us. Satan was trying to discourage us cause we were trying to bring some investigators to go to conference. We got two investigators to come to conference. We are teaching about 19 people right now. The food is boom here. Me and my companion are always having a good time. We are so grateful that we are companions.

The good news that I have for you guys is that I baptized someone yesterday. I baptized Brian!!!!!! It was the first baptism in my whole life and it was the best experience of my life. My companion helped me how to get everything ready and show me what to say. Brian is such a good kid and out of me and my companion he chose me. I was so humbled to hear that and have the opportunity to baptize him. He will always be in my heart and always be the first convert I have. I wish you guys were there to feel the spirit that was in that room and when I walked into the baptismal fount and have the authority given by Jesus Christ to baptize him.
I'm so happy to be preaching the thing I love the most which is this Gospel; just like David A Bednar said in his talk. "This is why Mormons are so persistent. They want to share the thing they love the most with everyone." .
